Every contributor for this open-source dress provided a design for one tile - so we decided for a study based on Ernst Haeckel's - Kunstformen der Natur (Art Forms in Nature). The hexagonal shape is a transformation of Haeckels visualisation of a pentagonal 'Blastoidea' which is a extinct type of stemmed echinoderm.
